Pepperoni Pizza
Homemade pepperoni pizza is always the best treat for my children.
There is something in the homemade dough the way cheese melts and the turkey pepperoni that makes the dough so soft inside and crispy on the bottom and the top. We enjoy this pizza with a topping of mozzarella cheese, yellow cheese and fresh green peppers from the garden.
INGREDIENTS:
for the pizza topping:
200 gr.. mozzarella cheese, sliced
3 green bell peppers, sliced
1 cup (150gr.) yellow cheese, diced
150 gr. turkey pepperoni, sliced
3 tablespoons of homemade ketchup or pizza sauce
and 3 tablespoons olive oil for the baking pan and the dough
Preheat the oven on 200 degrees Celsius (392F).
Manage the homemade pizza dough as I have explained..
Oil the baking pan with 2 table spoons olive oil and then place the dough.
Oil the dough with the rest of the oil.
Now evenly spread the ketchup, place green pepper slices and mozzarella cheese.
Spread the yellow cheese, arrange the pepperoni slices on the top.
Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of the homemade ketchup if you like.
Bake the pizza for 15 minutes or until edges start turning red.
Cut it on slices and sprinkle some dry oregano on the top.
Serve with a glass of nice white wine or cold beer.
