Quick Mushroom Sauce

QUICK MUSHROOM SAUCE

This sauce is quick, creamy and kind of sweet, so if you are going to serve it with grilled meat is the one you are looking for.

INGREDIENTS:

250gr. mushrooms fresh and sliced

3 tablespoons oil

1 big onion chopped

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup parsley chopped

black pepper

200 ml. warm water

1 tablespoon white all purpose flour

1 teaspoon sweet red paprika

1/3 cup heavy cream

Heat the oil in a pan and when it is hot enough add the onion. Fry for several minutes until then add the mushrooms, salt, red sweet paprika and fry for 5 minutes. Then add the water, parsley, black or white pepper and simmer the sauce for 20 minutes on a medium heat. The mushrooms should be soft and tender before you finish the preparation. Add 1 tablespoon flour in the heavy cream and mix it well. Add it to the sauce, cook for several minutes until it is thick enough for you. Serve the sauce together with meat or pasta.
