Pasta recipes are always accompanied by tomato basil sauce. It is one of the basic tomato sauce recipes when talking about easy pasta dishes. Basil pasta is more often found around the Mediterranean, especially Italy and Greece. Basil is a herb that makes a simple and plain tomato sauce taste better and richer. This is one spaghetti sauce recipe, easy and simple to prepare. It can also be used as a base for pies, pizza and many stews. Just put it in a jar and keep it in the refrigerator.

INGREDIENTS:

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 spring garlic or 2 cloves garlic, chopped

1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped (keep several for decorating)

2 cups chopped tomatoes with their juices or 1 can (400gr) con case

1/2 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

white pepper to taste

Take a sauce pan. Heat the oil and fry the garlic for a minute. Add half of the basil leaves fry shortly, add the tomato, salt, sugar, pepper the other half of basil leaves. Stir well and cook for 10 to 15 minutes with the pan covered, on medium heat. Serve on top of cooked spaghetti and decorate with grated cheese and fresh basil leaves.
